Beauty round up.....Spring skin must haves!

Ok, at this precise moment Spring has definitely sprung, but being England, next week there could be snow (not kidding).
I do love to give my skin a boost and lavish a little attention on it, for a bright, glowing Spring worthy complexion and here is my ultimate arsenal of products to do just that.....................

If like me you just don't go for facials that regularly, I have such sensitive skin that it is even *touch* sensitive and I leave looking like a tomato (never a good look ) I tend to be quite D.I.Y about my skin until I find a facialist with the hands of an angel.................this mask, is one that makes you look like an axe murderer it is a cotton mask with cutouts for eyes, nostrils mouth etc but the cotton mask is saturated in a lotion rich with marine trace elements, it is very hydrating, soothing and I find that it makes my skin soft and glowy like I have had a facial without the tomato bit in the middle yay!!!
Ok, a little unorthodox I know, but I not only take these as a supplement but I also *crack* one open and use it as a moisturising boost for my skin, it is full of fantastic ingredients like:  Flaxseed, wheatgerm, evening primrose oils and so many more treating oils, if you don't like the feeling of pure oil on your skin (I do) just add one of the capsules to your regular moisturiser for added moisture (you will find that you will now use your moisturiser very sparingly)

Another slightly *unusual* Springtime- skin treat I swear by is......

Petitgrain Essntial oil.........
It is an essential oil purported to boost the conscious intellectual side of your mind, while calming anger and panic. Its relaxing properties help to calm rapid heartbeat and insomnia whilst clearing the skin of excess sebum and fighting skin blemishes. But I find it to be like an all round skin tonic.
Petitgrain oil has a woody yet floral smell it was one of the original ingredients in the first versions of Eau de cologne.
It is an oil that derives from the leaves of the orange tree and is generally known to be: non toxic, non sensitising etc unlike some of the other citrus oils.

I pop 4 drops of this oil in a sinkful of warm water when I cleanse my face and I use this is the water that I use to wash my face in. Aromatic and treating- yep, that works.....

Happy Spring cleaning xxx

Eau de Nil- another colour crush.....

Eau de Nil Literally translates as water of the Nile.........what a glorious and fabulous thought, it is a green but a subtle seafoam green, I am just loving the greens right now, they look fabulous when you are wearing all black- oops that'll be me......all the time xxx
