Don't worry I am not getting all self help(y), but I do seriously think there is so much sense/guidance in some Latin phrases, some of my favourites are:
- Dum spiro, spero! While I breathe, I hope!
- Per aspera ad astra! Through difficulties to the stars!
- Perfer et obdura; dolor hic tibi proderit olim. Be patient and tough; some day this pain will be useful to you.
- Aut viam inveniam aut faciam ! I'll either find a way or make one!
- Candor dat viribus alas! Sincerity gives wings to strength
- Aber est quisque fortunae suae! Every man is architect of his own fortune
